How big is it, and how far does it go?
Mighty Patch Original, 36 count, $12.99 — on the brand’s own site, on Amazon and at Ulta, September 2026. That is about 36¢ a dot. Two Zyntra rolls are 240 sq in; cut into 12 mm squares with no waste that is about 1,075 pieces.
This is the part people film.
Cut it. Stick it. Sleep.
1
Cut it a bit bigger than the spot
Small scissors. Leave the backing on while you cut. Round off the corners — square corners are what peel up.
2
Clean, dry skin
Nothing underneath it. Serum or moisturiser is the reason a patch slides off. Press it down for ten seconds.
3
Leave it 6 to 12 hours
Go to sleep. Peel it off in the morning, once it has turned white.
Two layers. Two jobs.

Straight answers
Is this actually cheaper than just buying patches?
By a lot, if you cut them small. Two rolls is 240 square inches — about 1,075 pieces at the size of a normal dot, for $39.99. The same number of name-brand patches runs about $388. Even cutting them generously you are not going to get through it quickly.
Will it work on my kind of spot?
It works on whiteheads, popped spots and surface bumps — anything with fluid near the top. It will not drain a blackhead or a deep, painful cystic spot, because there is nothing near the surface for the gel to pull. It is still worth putting one over a cyst, though: it covers it, and it stops you getting at it.
Why a roll instead of normal pimple patches?
Because a patch is one size and your spots are not. You cut this to whatever you actually need — a small dot, a long strip down your jaw, a shape that fits beside your nose. The honest trade: at 1am you have to find scissors. It takes about ten seconds.
Will it actually stay on all night?
On clean, dry skin, yes — most people sleep in it with no trouble. Two things make one lift: moisturiser or serum underneath, and square corners. Wash, pat dry, round the corners off, press it down for ten seconds.
How do I cut it? What size?
Leave the paper backing on while you cut — that is what stops it folding onto itself. Cut it a little bigger than the spot, so a few millimetres sit on normal skin all the way round. Then snip the corners into curves. Cut too big rather than too small; you cannot make a piece bigger afterwards.
Do I need to clean the scissors?
Yes, and it takes a second. Wipe the blades with rubbing alcohol before you cut, and try to handle the piece by the backing rather than the sticky side. It is going on an open spot, so it is worth doing properly.
Can I wear it under makeup?
Yes. It is thin and sits fairly flat. Put it on bare, clean skin first, then makeup over the top — not the other way round, or it will not stick. In close-up light you can still just about see it. Nobody else will.
How long do I leave it on?
Six to twelve hours. Overnight is easiest. Take it off once it has gone cloudy white. If it is still clear, it is not finished — leave it on.
What is the white patch? Is that normal?
Completely normal, and it is the point. That white is the gel itself: it swells and turns cloudy as it soaks up fluid. It is not a patch full of pus. It just means it is full, and it is time for a fresh piece.
How do I store the rest of the roll?
Fold the cut end back on itself, or put a small clip on it, and keep it somewhere cool and dry — not a steamy bathroom shelf. Each piece you cut is single use; once it has gone white it has done its job.
Can I use it on my jaw, back or chest?
That is where a roll earns its keep. Cut a long strip for a jawline, or a bigger square for your back or chest, instead of dotting six separate patches around. Same rule though — it is for surface spots, not deep ones.
