Is the copper peptide proven?
Two human trials exist. One (split-face, 8 weeks, n=40) measured a real improvement in the look of wrinkle depth on 3D imaging; the other, on skin after laser resurfacing, found no objective change. Real evidence with limits, on the ingredient rather than this jar. We print both rather than pick one.
How long until I see something?
Softer, more comfortable skin the first morning: that is the tallow and honey. The fine-line and firmness work is an 8–12 week job with nightly use, because that is the window the research used.
Does it have to be at night?
It works best there. It is an occlusive whip, so it sits on the surface and makeup goes on unevenly over it. Morning is for the serum.
Can I use it with retinol?
Yes. Retinol earlier in the routine, balm last. If both are new to you, introduce one at a time so you know what your skin is reacting to.
Why is it blue?
Methylene blue, an antioxidant, is in the formula and it is blue. Nothing is added for colour.
Will it mark my pillow?
Use a pea and give it a few minutes before bed. Methylene blue is a pigment, so a heavy layer that hasn’t sunk in could mark a white pillowcase; a thin one pressed in shouldn’t.
How much GHK-Cu is in it?
